In a scene from the upcoming film \”Thunderbolts,\” Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova is seen leaping off the Merdeka 118 building during a stunt sequence.

Marvel Studios has unveiled a fresh clip from \”Thunderbolts,\” which includes Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova. The segment captures her leaping from Merdeka 118, the second-tallest structure globally following Dubai’s Burj Khalifa. The sequence depicts Belova safely descending via parachute post-jump.

BTS clips from an accompanying feature reveal that the leap was carried out practically, with Florence Pugh executing the stunt personally using wires for assistance. The featurette notes that Disney’s health and safety department originally objected to this plan but later gave their approval following Pugh\’s insistence. As seen in the clip prior to the stunt, Pugh exclaimed, “I absolutely adore being up high!”

On the same day as the jump, the production crew captured footage of another stunt where they exploded an entire level inside a structure. This scene demanded precise synchronization and was executed physically rather than through digital means. It’s reported that Marvel prioritized practical effects for this movie instead of relying heavily on green screens.
