‘Fire Island’ Director Andrew Ahn Hints at Possible Sequel Being “Within Reach”

As another summer approaches, so does another ferry to
Fire Island

Recently, it was disclosed that there has always been talk of producing a sequel to his 2022 gay romantic comedy film. The movie takes place at the eponymous LGBTQ retreat and draws inspiration from it in a loose manner.

The film features Booster portraying Noah, who takes pleasure in one last getaway with his buddies on Fire Island. During this time, he aims to assist his closest pal Howie (played by Bowen Yang) in connecting with another guest named Charlie (James Scully), all while attempting to suppress his own feelings for Will (Conrad Ricamora).

Also featuring Margaret Cho, Zane Phillips, Matt Rogers, Tomas Matos, Torian Miller, and Nick Adams.
