One of \”It Ends With Us\” team members supports Justin Baldoni in his conflict with Blake Lively.
Talia Spencer, the storyboard artist for the upcoming romantic film set for release in 2024, shared her thoughts regarding the ongoing legal dispute involving the movie\’s lead actress and her director/co-star.
Lively, who is 37 years old, filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, aged 41, last year, charging him with sexual harassment and causing her emotional distress. In response, Baldoni counter-sued his fellow actor, claiming defamation, civil extortion, and additional grievances.
Addressing the drama on

On Sunday, April 13, Spencer praised Baldoni and claimed that Lively attempted to exploit his generosity in an effort to gain \”control\” over the movie.
Even though it\’s \”somewhat disheartening\” to witness the achievements of \”It Ends With Us\” overshadowed by the accusations made by both sides, Spencer expressed her hope for reconciliation between Lively and Baldoni. She wishes they could \”sheathe their swords,\” take responsibility for their actions, and coexist peacefully. However, she recognizes that ideal scenarios like this rarely occur in reality.
Referring to Baldoni as \”one of the few directors I\’ve worked with who were both kind and respectful,\” the storyboard artist revealed to an Australian TV show that her decision to become part of the film’s creative group stemmed from his dedication towards realizing their shared vision rather than seeking personal glory.

Spencer shared her thoughts on what she thinks might have happened between the two individuals.
“I feel like maybe Blake smelled his kindness, mistook it for weakness and tried to take advantage and take power,” she said during the weekend segment of the program.
When asked whether Lively \”took control of the movie\” from Baldoni, Spencer replied, \”Yes, I believe she attempted to.\”
She also commented on whether Blake managed to take control of the blockbuster.
Most likely, yes,\” replied the creative, further stating, \”I believe there were significant compromises regarding Justin’s initial concept for the movie.
Spencer concluded that she hopes “the truth comes out” and “that the innocent parties are proven innocent and we move on.”
The Post reached out to Lively and Baldoni’s legal teams for comment.
Lively made the first move in December,
suing her director
for alleged sexual harassment and claiming he launched a smear campaign against her.
He subsequently filed counter-lawsuits against the actress and her spouse, Ryan Reynolds, for
$400 million,
accusing the couple of defamation, civil extortion, false light invasion of privacy and more.
Each side has rejected the accusations made by the opposing party.
Lively and Baldoni’s court case is set for March 2026.
It appears the actress isn\’t allowing the legal issues to affect her spirits, as she has recently been seen out and about actively promoting her forthcoming movie.
“Another Simple Favor,”
which is the sequel to her 2018 movie with Anna Kendrick.
Lively was photographed greeting fans and signing autographs in London this week. She seemed in good spirits while across the pond promoting her latest project.
The lead actor and Kendrick were also present on the black carpet promoting the movie, set for release in theaters on May 1st.
