A video of American tycoon and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates enjoying durian at Singapore’s Newton Food Centre has become an internet sensation, piquing the curiosity of many online viewers.
The video, shared on TikTok by user @rebecca89292 on Tuesday morning, has attracted more than 611,000 views along with numerous comments.
The footage depicts Gates seated at a table, surrounded by his security team and fellow diners. Initially, he raises a chunk of durian towards his nostrils, slightly tilts his head, before taking not just one, but two mouthfuls. Following this, after some mastication, he places the fruit back onto the table and delicately nods his head once more.
