the Star Wars
Throughout more than twenty years, he portrayed Qui-Gon Jinn, earning significant admiration and acknowledgment. Given his involvement in one of the most prominent Hollywood series with an extensive following, it’s only logical that fans would anticipate these actors reprising their characters.

Tune into Watch What Happens Live Starring Andy Cohen
and inquired of Liam Neeson,
When you took on the role of Qui-Gon Jinn again for \’Obi-Wan Kenobi,\’ did you ever imagine this would occur? Also, are you keen on developing your own spin-off projects?
Neeson responded by saying,
No, I disagree. With all theStar Warsspin-off series out there, it feels like they\’re watering down the original appeal for me. The mystery and enchantment have somehow been diminished in an odd manner.
Nevertheless, he went on to express his deep admiration for the body of work accomplished within this realm up until now.
\”It was nice to do a little bit with Ewan [McGregor, who plays Obi-Wan Kenobi] after 25 years [or] 24 years. I was in the TV version and I had [only] three lines to say. That was [still] cool. I loved it. That\’s it [though]\”
Neeson\’s words ring true, especially amid the overwhelming trend of projects based on an existing IP.
Star Wars
has also had a flurry of new projects come out—even after the original trilogy and the three prequels. So, it leads to many iconic characters being reintroduced in different projects. They reveal more about their personalities, pasts, and philosophies. However, the more you know, the less the mystery.
For the same reason, Neeson doesn\’t want to reappear as the iconic Jedi master. It\’s not the only time the 72-year-old actor has mentioned that he does not want to play this character again.

In a different interview, Neeson stated that he would come back for the role.
Star Wars
The universe exists solely if it pertains to a film rather than a TV show.
Oh, I reckon so, yes, indeed, I think so…if it were a movie. To be honest, I have quite high standards for television. I prefer the grandeur of cinema, you understand? Qui-Gon, it\’s hard to fathom that it\’s been 24 years since \’The Phantom Menace\’ came out; it feels surreal how quickly time flies. Filming in London back then was an incredible journey.
