Rookie producer Bella Agyeman has received praise from Silverbird Cinemas and fellow professionals for her box office \’magic\’ over the past weekend.
Bella\’s \’Check-In\’ film has been lauded as the top seller at theaters this year.
During an interview, Nana Kwame Obiri-Tete, who leads sales and marketing at Silverbird Cinemas Ghana, mentioned that for someone new to acting, Bella Agyeman performed exceptionally well in her first movie premiere.
He felt a sense of pride regarding Bella Agyeman’s efforts to attract attendees, noting that she undertook numerous promotional endeavors.
He mentioned that Bella’s street-level promotional activities, along with various public relations efforts, were heading in the correct direction.
\”Given her actions, it’s clear that Bella has a bright future ahead. Even with an excellent product, failing to promote it will prevent people from showing their support. Bella invested significant effort into this, which is why she managed to attract many attendees to the premiere,\” explained Obiri-Tetteh.
On her end, Bella Agyeman conveyed gratitude to her co-actors, her crew, members of the press, and every stakeholder who backed her initiatives prior to the premiere.
The highly anticipated Ghanaian comedy film \’Check-In\’ had its premiere at Silverbird Cinemas on April 12, 2025.
This film revolves around the tale of disorder and a power outage at an isolated inn. During this turmoil, a clever staff member has to uncover secret ties among the visitors and reestablish order before their undisclosed truths lead to their downfall.
The film, produced by Bella Agyeman, starred Kofi Okyere-Darko (KOD), Clemento Suarez, Jeneral Ntatia, Priscilla Opoku-Agyeman, Felicia Osei, Gideon Kojo Boakye, Clinton Odoi, Fiifi Jefferson Pratt, and Gabriel Hogan, along with several others.
