Straight from the triumph of \”When Life Gives You Lemons,\” actor Park Bo-gum morphs into another endearing character named Yun Dong-ju. This namesake comes from a distinguished Korean poet, yet ironically, this young man often finds himself entangled in physical altercations throughout his schooling days. It is within these confrontational encounters that Dong-ju hones his skills in proper boxing, eventually launching a thriving professional boxing career culminating with a coveted gold medal win. Sadly, his triumphant path takes an unfortunate twist following his unjust dismissal from the national boxing squad. Renewal strikes once more for Dong-ju as he secures employment as a law enforcement officer via a specialized hiring program. Despite facing numerous challenges in his policing role, his world shifts dramatically at first sight when he meets the captivating Ji Han-na in his line of duty.
Kim So-hyun portrays Ji Han-na, a former champion sharpshooter who became a police officer. From middle school onwards, \”Han-na exhibited exceptional talent in shooting competitions, consistently delivering accurate shots and earning widespread admiration among spectators. As her popularity surged, so did unwanted scrutiny from various quarters. This resulted in mounting criticism and misconceptions, pushing Han-na into seclusion over time. Her personal challenges culminated in an inability to focus during critical moments of her competitive life. Ultimately, due to severe stress-related issues accompanied by bouts of vertigo, she had to end her promising athletic journey prematurely. Determined to pursue another path inspired by her father’s legacy as a law enforcer, Han-na enrolled in specialized police training programs. Despite being paired with colleagues such as the infatuated Dong-ju and her estranged ex-partner Jong-hyeon, she feels content when selected for duty within this elite unit.\”
Lee Sang-yi plays the role of silver medalist Kim Jong-hyeon.
