As the two-time Golden Globe-nominated actor collaborates again with the directorial duo,
Honey Don’t!
Recently, she hinted at her portrayal of the eponymous gay private investigator Honey, which demanded that she become \”a bit smoother and more enigmatic\” than her natural self for the highly anticipated sequel to their lesbian B-movie series.
\”I usually prefer to prevent issues from arising at all. In contrast, my partner is incredibly adept; she moves with ease and grace, navigating situations without being noticed,\” Qualley explained.

explaining that she had to suppress her \”innate Scooby-Doo\” tendencies when embodying the detective character.
No woman requires lessons on becoming a detective,\” she said. \”Even without realizing it, women often grasp what\’s going on around them. In particular, during my late teens and early twenties, my sleuthing abilities on Instagram were quite impressive. This skill set includes various tools, techniques, and intuition.
Qualley commended Coen and Cooke, highlighting that their collaboration had been \”completely distinct from anything else I\’ve experienced.\” She emphasized how deeply they respected and cared for one another, adding that she cherished the universe they have created together.

Qualley mentioned about the possible third and final movie, \”I haven\’t seen a script yet, nor have I been approached. However, it should be noted that if I\’m absent from [the third film], I would feel affronted and disappointed.\”
