SEATTLE
–
A year following their formal introduction,
K-pop
group TIOT is back with their third mini-album, \”FLEX LINE.\”
On April 17th, the quintet unveiled their four-song EP featuring an array of genres designed to reveal a fresh perspective to listeners, particularly through the lead single which shares the album’s title.
Keonhee explains that the song’s message encourages pushing past our boundaries to chase our aspirations. While \’flex\’ often refers to wealth or celebrity status, they interpret it as showcasing their personal style and charm to their audience.
The intense instrumentals combined with the hip-hop vibe of the track enable the group to deliver a strong performance along with an entertaining choreography.

Although the ensemble has only existed for a year, they are already involved in producing their own music.
\”Since before our debut, Keonhee and I have been involved in crafting lyrics for the track \’BUNGEE.\’ We worked hard to hone our abilities, and it’s great to be able to contribute again with this new album; overall, it has been quite an enjoyable experience,\” explains Minseoung.
Using \”FLEX LINE,\” the band aims to reveal a new facet of their sound, enabling them to keep growing artistically.
\”Having compared this one to our earlier tracks, we all felt that each song stands out uniquely without repeating itself. So, it feels really fresh,\” notes Junhyeon.
Although the ensemble\’s theme songs often brim with vigor and dynamic shows, they ensure to provide their audience with mellow, vocally-focused pieces from earlier works like \”Take It Slow\” and \”Starlight.\” This trend persisted in \”FLEX LINE\” through the song titled \”Always.\”
This song enhances the appeal that Keonkee wanted to demonstrate to her audience, while simultaneously delivering the strong, infectious musical style that both LOTI and their fanbase look forward to experiencing in their tracks.
As they look toward the future, the group’s immediate objective is to focus intently on executing their everyday tasks and duties meticulously, all while keeping an eye on a more ambitious long-term aspiration.
Minseoung expresses his desire to perform at the gymnastics stadium and fill it with LOTI. He also mentions he wants to do this performance for free and wishes to donate all revenues from live broadcasts of the event.
Using \”FLEX LINE,\” the group shares with FOX 13 how this mini-album recounts TIOT’s genuine journey along with narratives they have longed to share.
\” You can relate to the message that TIOT conveys, so make sure to listen to it frequently,\” Junhyeon ends with.
