Michelle Trachtenberg Passed Away Due to Diabetes Complications, Medical Examiner Confirms

Michelle Trachtenberg passed away naturally due to diabetes-related complications, as confirmed by the New York City Medical Examiner\’s Office.

The medical examiner\’s office stated that although an autopsy wasn\’t conducted, the toxicology test results provided further insight.

Trachenberg\’s relatives opposed an autopsy due to their religious beliefs.

The 39-year-old actress was
discovered deceased in her residence
In February, at Columbus Circle.

Trachtenberg, a New York City native, made her acting debut as a child star with roles on Nickelodeon, including the television series \”The Adventure of Pete & Pete\” and the film \”Harriet the Spy.\”

Her major breakthrough occurred when she was selected for the role of Dawn — Sarah Michelle Gellar’s sibling — in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” from 2000 to 2003.

Trachtenberg portrayed Georgina Sparks on \”Gossip Girl\” between 2008 and 2012. In recognition of her performance, she received a nomination for the choice TV villain at the Teen Choice Awards in 2012.
